Eugenia Rico

Eugenia Rico is an acclaimed Spanish writer based in Madrid. The recipient of numerous literary awards such as Azorin, Primavera and Ateneo de Sevilla and the prestigious Valle-Inclan Fellowship of the Real Academia de Espana in Rome, Rico’s articles and essays have been featured in Revista de Occidente, El Pais, El Mundo, La Nouvelle Revue Française, and Der Spiegel. Gore Vidal said that “Eugenia Rico may be the great voice of the 21st century.” Her short story, "Waste" (translated by Anna Rosen Guercio), was recently nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
