LidijaŠtrmelj , PhD (2010), is Assistant Professor at the University of Zadar. She teaches English Linguistics, Shakespeare’s Language and History of English. Previously, she also taught English Phonetics and Phonology and Language of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales at the University of Zadar and University of Mostar. She has published mostly on the Old English and Middle English grammar and vocabulary as well as on metaphor from a synchronic and diachronic perspective. Her main interests are in historical linguistics and cognitive linguistics.
