Stipe Grgas , born in 1951, is the Chair of the American Studies Program at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. His publications include three books: Nietzsche i Yeats (1989), Ispisivanje prostora: čitanje suvremenog američkog romana (2000), and Kažnjavanje forme: irsko pjesništvo poslije Yeatsa (2006). With Svend Erik Larsen, he is the editor of a collection of essays, The Construction of Nature (1994). Stipe Grgas is the author of about a hundred articles and papers on topics relating to Irish, British, and American literature and culture. The focus of his current research is the interdisciplinary area of human spatiality.
