Anders Johansson (1968) is Professor in Comparative Literature in the Department of Humanities, Mid-Sweden University in Sundsvall. He has published six monographs in Swedish (most recently Självskrivna män [Self-written Men] and Kärleksförklaring [Love Declaration], with the common subtitle Subjektiveringens dialektik [Dialectics of Subjectivation]), and several articles – on Adorno, Deleuze, evil, subjectivity, (un)freedom of speech etc. – both in Swedish and English. Johansson is also a member of the advisory board of the cultural journal Glänta, and occasionally he writes critique and comments in the newspaper Aftonbladet.
