Selma Raljević is an Assistant Professor of literature in the English Department at the Faculty of Humanities of Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2016, she published a monograph entitled Faulkner and Selimović Were Here: Modernism, Alienation and Disintegration (Stolac, Mostar: Slovo Gorčina, Fakultet humanističkih nauka Univerziteta “Džemal Bijedić” u Mostaru). She is a Fulbright alumna (Brandeis University, Waltham, MA, Sept. 2014 – Feb. 2015). Her primary research interests are American Modernism, Contemporary American Fiction, Comparative and Transnational Literature.
