Nicola Blake , an alumna of Rutgers University-New Brunswick, focusses on the role of narrators and narrative structure in medieval and modern literature. She specializes in dream theory and theories of memory and performance. Nicola previously taught for more than 10 years at Rutgers and the City College of New York. She served as director of the Writing Center at City College. She is currently a faculty member at Stella and Charles Guttman Community College and the Chair of the College’s Curriculum Committee. Nicola has received several awards for her service and scholarship, including one for service learning from the Colin Powell Center for Policy Studies at City College, CUNY.
