Stefanie Heine studied English, philosophy and comparative literature at the University of Zürich. She attended the School of Criticism and Theory at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, and now she works as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Comparative Literature, University of Zürich. She did her PhD on Virginia Woolf and Impressionist painting at the University of Zürich. He publications include: Visible Words and Chromatic Pulse. Virginia Woolf’s Writing, Impressionist Painting, Maurice Blanchot’s Image (2014), Variations 21. Formeln / Formulae / Formules (one of editors with Clemens Özelt, and Franziska Struzek-Krähenbühl, 2013), and “These Things Astonish Me Beyond Words. Virginia Woolf, Sylvia Plath, William Carlos Williams” (2013).
